As an enthusiastic career educator, I am eager to bring my extensive and diverse experience and expertise to your school.  With 20 years teaching and leading in public, charter, and independent schools in Miami, New York City, and San Juan, I am well aware of the many great practices in education and school operations that influence my consultation and support services.

 

In my role as Executive Director of the nation’s first District-managed charter schools at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, I consulted for and supported eight well-intentioned and very unique charter schools by leveraging the experience and resources of the fourth largest school district for educational, financial, and operational guidance and support while respecting the independence and autonomy of each school to make their own decisions. This experience, coupled with my existing team of experts in a variety of fields, has laid the foundation for strategic and effective consulting services that consistently look for opportunities for growth and impact.

My critical thinking, growth mindset, strategic planning, absolute resilience and flexibility, and ability to garner buy-in and commitment has provided me with the tools to be a dynamic consultant who is sensitive to the needs of each school, person and department to be effective, committed, and inspired including empowering others through collaborative leadership and creating an environment where faculty, staff, and students are excited to work, learn, and thrive.
